Terms of Service

By creating an account on VoxHer (operated by VoxHer, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

VoxHer is a verified community. Every user must verify their identity to participate in paid sessions.

• You must be 18 years of age or older, confirmed at signup and via government ID verification
• You must be a US resident, confirmed by declaration, a US phone number, and IP geolocation
• Your email must be verified before account creation is complete
• Advisors must complete full government document plus selfie verification via Stripe Identity in Step 4 of the advisor application; profiles do not go live until verification is complete and a subscription is active
• Seekers must complete tiered verification before loading wallet funds or starting a live session (see Section 3)
• Automated accounts and bots are prohibited
• Submitting false identity documents results in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement

• Tier 1 (Browse Verified): Required at signup. Email confirmation, US phone verification, and a Stripe Identity selfie check. Allows account creation and marketplace browsing.
• Tier 2 (Session Verified): Required to load wallet funds or start a live session. Full government document plus matching live selfie.
• Two failed Tier 1 attempts result in a 24-hour lockout before another attempt is permitted

VoxHer is available to US residents only. This is enforced through IP geolocation, US-only phone verification, US residency declaration, and US-only Stripe Connect payouts for advisors. Attempting to bypass geographic restrictions using a VPN, false declaration, or any other means violates these Terms.

VoxHer is for advice, perspective, and genuine human connection — including simply having someone real to talk to. Male loneliness is real and VoxHer takes it seriously. Emotional openness and personal struggles are welcome.

What is welcome

Honest questions about dating, relationships, communication, work, family, and life. Genuine conversation. Simply having someone to talk to. You can be vulnerable, lonely, or struggling — that is welcome here.

What it is not for

Sexual conversation, explicit content, or romantic solicitation of advisors. You cannot be sexual, romantic, or abusive toward an advisor. Ever.

VoxHer operates as a neutral platform under 47 U.S.C. § 230. VoxHer is not responsible for user-generated content, does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of advice, and all advice is personal opinion — not professional legal, medical, psychological, or financial counseling.

All sessions on VoxHer are real-time. There are no pre-recorded or asynchronous responses.

• Live Chat: Real-time text conversation, billed per minute.
• Live Video Call: Real-time video conversation via VoxHer’s built-in video (powered by Daily.co), billed per minute.

7.1 Seeker Wallet

• Seekers load funds into a VoxHer wallet before starting any session
• Wallet top-up presets: $25, $50, $100, $200, or a custom amount ($10 minimum, $1,000 maximum per top-up)
• Wallet balance never expires; funds remain in your account until used or refunded
• To start a live session, a seeker’s wallet must have at least 5 minutes’ worth of the advisor’s per-minute rate
• Wallet top-ups are generally non-refundable except as set forth in Section 8

7.2 Advisor Pricing

• Advisors set their own per-minute rate for live chat and video (suggested range $1.00 to $5.00)
• Advisors may update their rates at any time; changes take effect for new sessions only
• VoxHer takes 20% of all session revenue. Advisors keep 80%.
• Stripe payment processing fees are absorbed by VoxHer and are not passed through to seekers or advisors
• Advisor payouts are processed via Stripe Connect to US bank accounts

7.3 Advisor Subscription

Advisors pay a recurring subscription to maintain an active profile on VoxHer. The subscription is required after admin approval and before the profile goes live.

• Monthly plan: $15 per month, billed via Stripe
• Annual plan: $150 per year (saves $30 versus monthly), billed via Stripe
• New advisors receive a 7-day free trial that begins when the subscription is created (not at admin approval)
• The profile goes live only after the subscription has been created
• If a subscription payment fails, the profile is hidden from the marketplace immediately, with no grace period
• Advisors may manage their subscription, including switching between monthly and annual plans, via the Stripe Customer Portal; plan changes follow Stripe’s standard proration rules
• Advisors banned for conduct violations: no automatic refund of any unused subscription period
• Subscription revenue is not shared with advisors

7.4 Live Session Billing

• Live session costs are deducted from the seeker’s wallet in whole-minute increments during the session
• A running cost counter is displayed on screen for both seeker and advisor
• When the wallet has approximately 2 minutes of remaining balance, an in-session warning is displayed with an option to add funds
• If the wallet reaches zero mid-session, the session closes gracefully and the advisor receives earnings up to that point
• At session end, any partial final minute is billed as a full minute (rounded up to the next whole minute)
• Sessions may be ended by the seeker at any time; no minimum session length applies

8.1 Refunds Available

• Wallet top-ups: generally non-refundable, but may be refunded in cases of documented platform error; refunds are administered by VoxHer through Stripe and are not self-service
• Advisor subscription trial: advisors may cancel during the 7-day trial period at no charge

8.2 No Refund

• Sessions ended via End and Report: no refund to the seeker’s wallet; the final partial minute is still billed as a full minute
• Wallet balances of suspended or banned accounts are frozen and non-refundable; balances cannot be used after a suspension or ban takes effect
• Advisor subscriptions cancelled due to conduct violations: no automatic refund
• Chargeback attempts on non-refundable transactions will be disputed using session metadata, safety captures, and Stripe Identity records

The categories listed below are prohibited. Some categories result in immediate permanent ban; others follow a graduated penalty system (see Section 11).

9.1 Immediate Permanent Ban

The following result in immediate permanent ban, with no warning, no refund, and potential law enforcement referral:

• Sexually explicit messages, requests, or content of any kind directed at advisors
• Sharing or requesting sexual, nude, or intimate images
• Attempting to discuss or involve minors in sexual or romantic contexts
• Death threats or threats of physical harm
• Hate speech targeting any person or group
• Soliciting or instructing illegal activity
• Encouraging, suggesting, or instructing self-harm or suicide
• Submitting false identity documents
• Attempting to identify or locate an advisor outside VoxHer, including searching for her real identity or contacting her through any channel she did not share

9.2 Other Prohibited Conduct

The following are prohibited and subject to the graduated penalty system in Section 11:

• Requesting personal contact information of any kind
• Attempting to move communication outside VoxHer
• Harassment, bullying, or abusive behavior
• Bypassing geographic restrictions

VoxHer does not record or monitor session content. Violations in this section are enforced when reported by the other party or surfaced by the keyword warning system in Section 10.

Crisis resource: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988, available 24/7.

• VoxHer scans messages for prohibited keywords before they are sent
• If a message is flagged, a warning is shown and the user must explicitly confirm to send anyway
• Messages sent after a warning are logged for safety review
• Sending prohibited content after a warning may result in immediate permanent ban depending on category, or other enforcement action under Section 11

For violations outside Section 9.1, VoxHer applies a graduated penalty system:

• Warning: formal warning, content removed, account marked. Sessions continue.
• Suspension: 30-day suspension by default; sessions blocked; wallet balance frozen during suspension.
• Permanent Ban: account closed, wallet balance frozen and non-refundable, future registration prohibited.

VoxHer may apply any level of penalty based on the severity and pattern of conduct, and may bypass earlier steps for serious violations.

Enforcement under this section is complaint-driven. VoxHer acts on reports submitted through End and Report or the report form, not on routine review of session content. A permanent ban closes the account and freezes any remaining wallet balance as non-refundable, as set out above.

• Both advisors and seekers may end a session via the End and Report button, available at all times during an active session
• On confirmation: the session terminates, no_refund is applied, the final partial minute is billed in full, the last 10 messages from the session are captured for safety review, and an urgent admin alert is created
• When a seeker is reported by an advisor, the seeker is added to that advisor’s permanent block list and cannot view or book that advisor again

• Seekers blocked via End and Report are permanently blocked from booking the reporting advisor
• Blocks are per-advisor and one-directional (seeker blocked from advisor); they do not block the seeker platform-wide
• Blocks cannot be reversed by the seeker

• Complete all required verification and wallet setup before your first session
• Treat all advisors with respect; emotional openness is welcome, abuse is not
• You may appear anonymously to advisors; your identity is verified by VoxHer but not displayed to other users
• Do not violate Section 9

• Complete all required steps of the advisor application, including identity verification
• Maintain an active subscription to keep your profile live
• Set your own rates; you are an independent contractor, not a VoxHer employee
• You are responsible for your own tax obligations on income earned
• Uphold the VoxHer Advisor Standard: Direct, Kind, Grounded
• You may decline any request for any reason; no explanation is required
• Do not provide professional legal, medical, or psychological advice
• Use End and Report immediately for any prohibited content

• Direct: says what she actually thinks — not what is comfortable
• Kind: honest does not mean harsh — truth with care
• Grounded: real experience and emotional intelligence — no therapy-speak

• Do not attempt crisis counseling; end the session and report immediately
• Use End and Report and email support@voxher.com if you have ongoing concerns
• Suggest: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

VoxHer is not liable for the content of any advice, communication, or interaction between users. VoxHer is not liable for emotional, financial, or relational outcomes from advice received.

Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid to VoxHer in the three months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoxHer, LLC, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or content you submit.

VoxHer reserves the right but not the obligation to review, flag, remove, or retain any content. Moderation does not make VoxHer the publisher of user content and does not waive our rights under 47 U.S.C. § 230.

We may terminate accounts at any time for violation of these Terms. Termination for prohibited content or false verification is immediate and permanent. Upon termination: wallet balance is frozen and non-refundable, advisor subscription is cancelled with no automatic refund, and pending advisor payouts for completed sessions are still processed.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for matters involving intellectual property, privacy, identity verification, or prohibited content.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

Material changes will be notified by email and via a platform notice. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
